Babolat RPM Blast 16G Tennis String Review
By Chris Lewis

INTRODUCTION: Babolat RPM Blast Strings were launched at the 2010 Australian Open, and were used by three players -- Rafael Nadal (SPA), Andy Roddick (USA) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (FRA).
PLAYABILITY: Babolat RPM Blast Strings have created a large buzz ever since early 2010 when Rafael Nadal stated that "With this new string, I have more spin, and it helps me hit deeper."
Having been extremely impressed with Babolat Revenge, I was looking forward to comparing it with Babolat's eye-catching black string, the cleverly named RPM Blast. After a few minutes of hitting, I felt extremely comfortable playing any shot at all. It's a relatively soft poly that plays like Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour. I'm no fan of the wire-like Polys that have that incredibly dead feel to them; however, I really appreciate the polys that not only give you that extra bite and spin but also let you play with control and feel. Which is how I would categorize RPM Blast.
This is a first class string that is perfect for players who want to get the most out of their groundstrokes while still enjoying a relatively forgiving feel on impact and plenty of decent feedback to the hand and arm. As well as stacks of playability, Babolat RPM Blast is also very durable. If you're an advanced player looking to try a poly that may be better than your current string, Babolat RPM Blast Tennis Strings may be just what you and your game need.
