Outsole: Developed in collaboration with Michelin's R & D team, Babolat outsoles are specially designed to give players the highest performance over a longer period. The outsole tread patterns are designed to offer optimized traction and ground contact on any surface.

INTRODUCTION:  Babolat V-Pro All Court Men's Tennis Shoes were introduced in 2011 and come in three colors -- White/Blue, White/Red, Black/Blue. They come with a six month warranty.

COMFORT: Upon first putting on the V-Pros, I needed to break them in for a day before playing with them. They were a nice fit, but didn't have the suppleness and freedom of foot movement that I prefer straight out of the box. After break in, they were very comfortable, but without the slipper-like feel of the Babolat Propulse or the ultra comfort of the Babolat SFX's.

The fit was great, and the padding in the heel, ankle area and tongue was first class. They are also a light weight shoe that are very suitable for high performance. The one area where I have a personal preference for more flexibility is in the uppers above  the front half of the foot. I found that the V-Pro kept my forefoot a little too secure at the expense of flexibility when preparing to plant my foot on the court.

ARCH SUPPORT: The arch support in the Babolat V-Pro All Courts is great. In every Babolat shoe I've tried, the shape and contour of the arch support seems to fit my feet perfectly. It's a relatively low to the ground feel which I find not only supportive, but also conducive to quick movement.

FOOT SUPPORT: If anything, the foot support in the V-Pros is almost too good. With me, it gets to a point where the feet feel so secure that I actually want them to have a little more freedom. This was the case with the V-Pros. On the other hand, I have spoken to players who absolutely love the extra support and security, preferring it to a more flexible tennis shoe.

DURABILITY: Durability of V-Pros was very good. I found the toe area to be well protected, and the sole lasted well. I wouldn't put them in the exceptional category, but for a performance shoe at a very reasonable price and a six month outsole warranty, they are good value.

TRACTION: The Babolat V-Pro All Courts definitely gripped the court well. They had a little "give" in them upon contact with the court, and there were no instances of slipping or lacking grip on the court when quick acceleration was needed.

SUMMARY:  The Babolat V-Pro All Courts are a light, supportive and comfortable shoe with good durability and traction.
