Head YOUTEK Extreme Pro Racquets have been especially designed for aggressive, competitive players with a long swing style. They have an overall rounder shape, and extra stability against twisting. The Head YOUTEK Extreme Pro has a relatively stiff feel to it, and is also very comfortable to play with.  

The Head YOUTEK Extreme Pro Racquet has all the benefits of the Extreme MP in a heavier, stiffer version. It's a racquet for very aggressive hitters.  The racquet is custom built for players who like to control points from the back of the court with huge pace and spin.  At 11.1oz unstrung, and balanced head light, for strong, advanced players, the Extreme Pro is an easy racquet to maneuver.

Upon ball impact, the d30 technology gives the racquet a softer feel for touch shots and a stiffer feel for power shots.

The HEAD Youtek Extreme Pro features HEAD's d30 technology, a smart material designed to react to each shot (d3o softens the feel of touch shots and stiffens up on greater impact when more power is required). As with its predecessor, the DuPont Teflon Friction Reducing Polymer Grommets are used for a more comfortable stringbed response.

HEAD GROMMETS WITH FRICTION REDUCING TEFLON POLYMER

Friction is a force that holds back the movement of a string when it comes into contact with a grommet. The new HEAD Grommets with Teflon® friction reducing polymer creates a self-lubricating effect in the base material, allowing the strings to slide through the grommets with nearly no friction for much less energy loss and much more power.

Friction is present between the grommet and the string providing some degree of resistance during ball impact resulting in energy loss and less power.

HEAD Grommets with Teflon Friction Reducing Polymer

The Teflon friction reducing polymer provides a low-friction contact surface, enabling the strings to slide through the grommets with nearly no friction. Moving without resistance, the strings maintain their energy during ball impact, providing more power.

During the stringing process, the Teflon friction reducing polymer in the grommet system allows more even and consistent tension. The HEAD grommet system takes this friction away allowing a more true tension providing larger sweetspot!
